For the Love of Color

I am a color connoisseur. As a four year old, I recognized my love for color. I distinctly remember a preschool class assignment where I took blue and pink tissue paper and glued them together. I was amazed to find the resulting color was purple! This was my first experience with the ‘magic’ of the color wheel. I’ve thought about the world of color differently ever since. 

I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. I attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts (as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience). It was during my college years that I found my voice as a painter. 

But the journey doesn’t stop. I consider myself a learner for life and of life. For me, learning is a daily occurrence.
